Add translations for on-page labels & texts
hey, I hope you’re doing well. I liked your app but I want to build a directory in turkish language. I’ve seen that If I change site language the texts that I can not change are staying in english. Thanks for your help.

Please look closer at the screenshot. You can edit any of the blocks on the page and set custom texts.

Thank you very much I found that now. What about this one? This component has no ability to change name on the “Search” button.

You’re right - not exactly everything is ready. :)
I will revise all the components this week to allow you to modify EVERY label you can see on the screen.

JFYI, I am sorry - was busy with some stuff IRL, but I’ll try my best to deliver the promise in the coming week(s).

Another update - it seems that this task wouldn’t be done in March, as the scope becomes larger each day and I need to figure out another way to make translations.
Most probably, I’ll come back to this task in May.

Hey,
The language you can set in the site settings mostly acts as a tip to search engines and AI writing capabilities.
To make the fully localized version - you can adjust almost all labels by editing the Content Pages.
Navigate to the “Content Pages” section and edit labels via Page Builder.

FYI, after making the first draft of the full-fledged translations feature, it is shown that it would slow down service development in the early days & highly likely will introduce new bugs.
I decided to put the feature back into the backlog.

To keep track of this: with the MakeADir v2 this feature became feasible, but will be delayed until we get a critical mass of the customers.
