Provide directories with a default home page

Feature Request

Currently, the default behavior is to display /browse at root of the website.

We need to change that.

Home page should display:
- Hero section with search field and configurable background
- Grid of the top-level categories with “show cover image” option set to “true” by default
- List of the Collections in form of H2 + Listing Cards + Button “see all”
- List of blog posts (probably grouped by Type, similar to Collections display)
- Grid of the latest items added to the directory with link to the /browse page
- ???

    Yes! Literally i was doing the exact thing right now (trying to redirect/create landing page) beucase its not that obvious - you need to “cheat” in current workflow.

    I mean these elements you’ve just listed will be “hard-coded”? This new home/landing page could work like the others with page builder - faq is also great option here but overall good choice of components.

      Nope, this page will not be hardcoded - it will be fully customizable via Page Builder. Likewise other “system” pages, it will have it’s unique elements available only there (at least, at the early days), yet you will be able to move them around or remove them altogether.

      The only pages hardcoded right now are the internal pages for end-users (“submit listing”, “my listings”, “login”, etc).

      I plan to make all the pages to be fully configurable, including these above, so that you can make whatever you need to your directory pages.

    The option to have different themes can be helpful in making directories look different from each other. Thanks!
